Mahindra Comviva’s Mobiquity™ mTicketing service enables Bangladesh Railways to digitize ticketing transactions, extending greater convenience to consumers whilst improving sales efficiency. Deployed in partnership with leading operators in Bangladesh, the service allows customers to purchase tickets using a prepaid mobile wallet or over-the-counter at an authorized outlet. Currently tickets can be purchased at 3,500 issuance points, – a third outside urban centers. Wide availability and convenience offered by the service has resulted in annual sales of 1.5 million tickets over the mobile channel.
